Partnering in Complex Care

At the Integrative Health Clinic, we work alongside medical specialists and allied health professionals to support patients with complex or persistent health conditions. Our role is to complement your care by investigating potential nutritional, hormonal, gastrointestinal, immune and other systemic factors that may be contributing to ongoing symptoms.

Patients remain under the care of their usual GP and treating specialists while we provide focused assessment and management within our area of expertise.

When to Refer

Consider referring patients who:

• continue to experience symptoms despite appropriate treatment

• have complex, multi-system presentations

• require a more in-depth assessment of nutritional, hormonal or gastrointestinal health

• may benefit from an integrative medical approach alongside conventional care

Our Collaborative Approach

We work closely with GPs, medical specialists and allied health practitioners to ensure care is coordinated. Following assessment, we provide clear clinical correspondence outlining our findings, investigations and management recommendations, helping to support ongoing shared care.

Our consultations allow time for a detailed medical history, review of previous investigations and, where appropriate, further diagnostic testing.

Areas We Commonly Assess

Our clinicians frequently assess patients with concerns relating to hormonal health, gut health, immune function, chronic inflammation, nutritional deficiencies and complex conditions such as Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), Dysautonomia and Ehlers–Danlos Syndrome (EDS).

Each treatment plan is individualised and evidence-informed, taking into account the patient's medical history, current care and clinical goals.

Referring a Patient

Patients can be referred via eHealthLink SHAHNIHC, or by email. We also accept self-referrals where appropriate and are happy to work collaboratively with the patient's existing healthcare team.
